Clubs and Teams

Technology Club

The Technology Club is a group that meets after school once a week to learn more about a variety of software applications. This group also coordinates the morning school broadcast.  It is open to all students in grades 6-8.

Governors Scholars Team

Students on the Governor’s Scholars team compete with students from other schools in the areas of Language Arts, Science, Math, Humanities and Arts, and Social Studies. The regional competition takes place in February.

Quick Recall Team

Students on the St. Andrew Academy Quick Recall team participate in a question and answer competition with teams from other schools. The questions are based on KY school curriculum. Competition is between two teams of four students from each school. Junior High and Elementary competitions occur throughout the year, followed by tournament which narrows down to two opposing Catholic school teams.

Peacebuilders

This student group is dedicated to promote good will and cooperation throughout the school and community. The St. Andrew Academy chapter is part of an international program dedicated to providing safe, productive and peaceful learning environments for children, teenagers, parents, staff and faculty. Choir

The choir allows students in grades 3-8 an opportunity to express their vocal artistry. There are many opportunities for the choir to perform for the school and community.

Student Goverment

Students in grades 4-8 have the opportunity to campaign and run for a variety of school offices. These student leaders help improve the school by planning events, encouraging participation in activities, and keeping the school a clean and safe place to learn.
