Sports
St. Andrew Academy offers a variety of sport activities throughout the school year.
These include Intramurals where St. Andrew teams compete against
each other; Intermurals, where St. Andrew teams compete against
teams from other area Catholic schools; an after-school golf program
and an annual field day. Additional information, such as

Intramural Sports (Grades K-2)
Intramural sports are available for students in grades K-2. Volleyball is offered
in the fall season for boys and girls. Basketball is offered in the winter season
for both boys and girls.
Inter-School Sports (Grades 3-8)
Intermurals, or the Inter-School Sports Program, is governed by the Louisville Catholic

Tackle Football
This fall sport is open to boys in grades 3-8. Registration begins in May
of the previous season.
Cross Country
This fall sport is open to boys and girls in grades 3-8. Registration begins
in May of the previous season.
Cheerleading (Football Season)
This fall sport is open to girls in grades 3-8. Registration begins in May
of the previous season.
Basketball
This winter sport is open to girls and boys in grades 3-8. Registration begins
in the fall prior to the season.
Cheerleading (Basketball Seaon)
This winter sport is open to girls in grades 3-8. Registration begins in the
fall prior to the season.
Soccer
This spring sport is open to girls and boys in grades 3-8. Registration begins
after the first of the year, prior to the season.
Volleyball
This spring sport is open to boys and girls in grades 3-8. Registration begins in February
of the year, prior to the season. Competition runs through March.
Softball
This spring sport is open to girls in grades 3-8. Registration begins in the
spring prior to the season.
Baseball
This spring sport is open to boys in grades 3-8. Registration begins in the
spring prior to the season.
Total Golf Adventures (After School Program)
Total Golf Adventures of Louisville has a program that provides children with access
into golf, introduces them to the game, builds sound golf fundamentals, instills
a solid understanding of the game’s rules and etiquette, prepares them for playing
on a course and then introduces them to competitive golf. In addition, TGA’s
program uses educational methods to reinforce concepts learned in the classroom
while also promoting life values that students can keep with them long after leaving
the course; which, in TGA’s program, is the students’ campuses.
Total Golf Adventures provides an after school program in the fall and spring seasons
in St. Andrew Academy softball/baseball field. Each session lasts 6 weeks.

Field Day
St. Andrew Academy’s Field Day is held every year in May. Students in all
grades have the opportunity to participate in a day-long event, which provides ample
opportunity for friendly competition in a variety of contests. Parents are
encouraged to join us and see their children participate.
